Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Big Buddy who is, in fact, just what his name says. This 12-year-old male tiger and white long-haired will be your best friend. He was found as a stray, but according to staff, he’s just a love.

Big Buddy likes to sleep with humans, is a great lap cat, and loves to be held. He is good with children and other cats but requires a little extra work as his long hair needs extra grooming.

Big Buddy’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor, so he can join your family with only the cost of his health certificate, which is $25.

In addition, this week kicks off a month-long Clear the Shelters event where you’ll get a free gift bag from Hill’s Pet Nutrition when you adopt in August. If you’re interested in meeting Big Buddy, please call 413-447-7878, extension 124.
