Ice Floes On the Hoosic River (Video)

Last Friday's exceptionally warm weather led to the breakup of accumulated ice along waterways around the Berkshires. Heavy rains and snow melt only added more volume, producing some localized flooding and some very dramatic scenes, like the one captured by Eric Kerns on Facebook of ice floes crashing on the Hoosic River on the west end of North Adams.
