While burgers might not be the first type of food that comes to mind when you think of Massachusetts, it turns out the Bay State actually has several fantastic burger joints! Given that the New England states have a regionally universal love for seafood, the burgers here tend to get overlooked. But recently, a particular upscale restaurant was actually picked as having the best cheeseburger in the state.

Admittedly, we missed National Cheeseburger Day (September 18th) by almost a week with this, but whether you know it or not, Massachusetts has several fantastic burger joints throughout the state! Sure, maybe we're getting a little too obsessed with our burger joints in the Bay State given that a burger might not necessarily be the first food you think of when it comes to any of the New England states thanks to our regional love for seafood.
