Jessica Speer-Holmes, the President of the Great Barrington Rotary Club recently announced the results of the Club's fundraising efforts as well as the many projects which were supported during the last fiscal year.

Berkshire Humane Society hosts the fundraising dog walk on Sunday, Sept. 9 on The Common in downtown Pittsfield. A timed 5K race has been added this year.

Two very generous donors will each give a dollar-for-dollar match for all donations given to BHS between June 1 and July 15. The shelter’s goal is to raise $25,000, which would mean $75,000 for animals and programs.
