Four teenagers and a few cans of Silly String turned a quiet Thursday at Mass MoCA into something the museum is still sorting through days later.

At the beginning of March 6th, we learned that Unionized employees at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) in North Adams, Mass. went on strike indefinitely following the museum’s refusal to meet demands for increased wages. Union members voted 97 percent in favor of the strike.

Heavy traffic for Berkshire County expected

These guys were originally scheduled to play Mass MoCA in North Adams back in August of last year, but Mother Nature had other ideas.

As of November 1, all visitors will be required to show proof that they have received the COVID-19 vaccination prior to entering the Clark or Mass MoCA.

1Berkshire, MASS MoCA’s Assets for Artists program, and Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation are seeking information from the leadership of creative economy institutions, businesses, and organizations.

The annual festival is a September staple at Mass MoCA in North Adams.
