Massachusetts cities

If you happen to live in New England, you are already well aware of some pretty amazing cities and towns that you have around you. It's one of the main reasons why the region is so popular in terms of vacation destinations. And with those specific destinations, there happen to be several great downtown areas throughout the state of Massachusetts.

There is a reason or several why we all live in Massachusetts. Perhaps the Bay State is just that great of a state to be in. We have tons of awesome attractions throughout the state. There's Boston, Salem, Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod, the Berkshires, etc. Not only that, but there's so much history throughout the state that adds to it. Sure, people like to travel here, but it also has become apparent that there's at least a few spots that have been labeled as the best places to live in America.

We all know that Massachusetts isn't exactly the biggest land mass. In fact, when compared to the rest of the states in the U.S., it is the 7th smallest state in the country. The state itself, covers only 10,554.39 square miles. And with that being the case, approximately just 7,800 square miles of that is land (thanks, Atlantic Ocean). Despite this, we have some relatively decent sized towns and cities, land-wise. But there is a town and city that have to take the title of the smallest in the state.

Pronunciation is important! You never want to mispronounce anything, ever. It can totally bring a conversation to a halt. Typically, before you even attempt to pronounce something that you're not exactly sure about, the best thing to do is ask someone else. Or maybe just Google it, duh! It just so happens that Massachusetts has more than a few cities and towns that are mispronounced quite often.

Inflation is everywhere! There's no secret that prices have gone up globally, so of course it affects nearly everything in our every day life. Prices on everything are higher and it can definitely be an adjustment for everyone. This includes cost of living. Of course, the biggest expense in our cost of living is for our place of residence. For renters, it just so happens that the biggest city in Massachusetts that has the cheapest rent is right here in the Berkshires.

No one likes to have the title of the most boring city in any state. It would be a downer for any city to even show up on a list of the most boring cities in Massachusetts.
