Massachusetts restaurants

With so much history throughout the entire state of Massachusetts, we all know that some establishments throughout the Bay State date back at least a few centuries. Of those, and in particular, of the most historic restaurants, which ones still hold up these days? And which ones are considered to be the best? We may have just found out where the best historic restaurant in the Berkshires is.

In recent months, a list of the top 100 restaurants to eat at in New England was released. This list was compiled by 'Yelp!' There is a crazy amount of restaurants that made the list of those 100, which happen to be in Massachusetts! While it's awesome that we have so many of them here in the Bay State, we decided to focus on those that finished among the very best in the New England region.

We all know Massachusetts has its share of great joints to eat at throughout the entire state. Whether you're in Boston, or on the western side of the state in the Berkshires, there are some great restaurants to hit up. There's even one spot in the Bay State that just made an exclusive list of the top places to eat at in America.

With so much history, Massachusetts has some of the oldest cities and towns throughout the entire country. So, it really only makes sense that it would be home to some of the most restaurants in the U.S. too, right? And there's not just one, but two! Not only are they two of the oldest restaurants, but they also happen to be restaurants you can still visit and grab a bite to eat.

It doesn't matter if you are someone who is traveling, or if it is where you live, every so often we see a commercial for a particular restaurant that has relative popularity and you start wonder, "Where is that place even at?" As someone who grew up in areas where this particular fast food joint had locations that were relatively abundant, I recently saw an Arby's commercial and wondered if Arby's even existed in Massachusetts.
