WOW: 64 Movies Filmed in MA….A Number in the Berkshires Too
Remember a time in Berkshire County when you would have to actually make plans and take a trip downtown to the movie store and rent movies. It was an adventure back in those days as bringing a movie home was an event in the Berkshires. Often times you would get to the store and not necessarily find the movie you were looking for because it was out. However, when that happened you wouldn't just throw your hands in there and go home. No. You would discover other surprises to take home, that you've never seen before. Plus, didn't you love how you could a great deal? I remember a few rental stores in Berkshire County offering the deal of 7 movies, 7 days for $7.77. That was a great deal to have when it came to school vacation time.
Nowadays, everything is much easier with a multitude of streaming services and more options than ever. Forget about 7 movies, 7 days for $7.77. Now it's just a binge-a-thon with all of your favorite TV shows from past and present. Still, there's something to be said about that trip to the rental store.
As I have been discovering more flicks on various streaming services, I started wondering which movies were filmed in Massachusetts. I found tons and tons. I'll have to do a couple of these posts as it would take me forever to pile them all here in one shot.
