The following are events that have been cancelled due to the Corona Virus threat that have either been called in or emailed/faxed to WSBS.

**Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker issued an emergency order requiring all non-essential businesses that do not provide COVID-19 essential services to close their physical workplaces to workers, customers and the public until Tuesday, May 4th. Health care, law enforcement and first responders, food and agriculture, transportation, utilities, grocery stores, pharmacies, convenience stores and gas stations will remain open for business.

**All Bay State restaurants and taverns will only offer take-out or delivery service as  gatherings of more than 10 people have also been banned including community, civic, public, leisure, faith-based, entertainment and sporting events that bring people within a confined area.

**The Town of Great Barrington has implemented an e mail account till further notice that will be dedicated to non-emergency questions and concerns during this public health emergency. Log on to COVID-19@townofgb.org. Selectboard Vice-Chair Ed Abrams has volunteered to answer e mails and provide essential information on a variety of issues.

**SBAS will offer complimentary grocery and essentials pick-up and drop-off for any elderly shut-in or incapacitated town resident who cannot manage a ride to the grocery store any weekday between 10 am and 4 pm. For further assistance, call (413) 528-3632.

**ALL schools in Berkshire county, Massachusetts, Litchfield county in north western Connecticut, Columbia, Northern Dutchess, Greene and Rensselaer counties in Eastern New York remain CLOSED.

**Local vet clinics, dentists, construction companies and other local businesses are asked to donate any personal protective equipment including N-95 masks, gowns or disposable face shields to their local fire departments and ambulance services.

**The town of Great Barrington's ban on single-use plastic water bottles has been lifted until April 30th as the measure will be reviewed afterwards.

**The town of Otis Council on Aging's Senior Center is closed..

**Berkshire Mountain Distillers in Sheffield has cancelled all tours and tastings until further notice. They will take on-line and telephone orders for curb side pick-up from 12 noon to 5 pm 7 days a week. **Our Lady of the Valley on Maple Avenue in Sheffield has cancelled Saturday and Sunday masses and all church activities until further notice.

**Any gatherings at Hevreh on route 23 in Great Barrington including worship, classes, outside groups, committee meetings, and the like--are all suspended.

**Blessed Theresa of Calcutta Church on Main St in Housatonic has cancelled all services until further notice.

**St. Mary of the Lakes Church on Main Road in Otis has cancelled all services until further notice.

**The West Stockbridge Congregational Church on Main Street has cancelled all services until further notice.

**Berkshire Housing's March First Time Home Buyers course will be rescheduled for sometime in May. The June class (which they were hosting) will likely be pushed out.

**Morrison's Home Improvement Home Buyers seminar has been postponed to May 7.

**First Congregational Church of Great Barrington has cancelled their Sunday morning services.

** Berkshire South Regional Community Center remains closed however they encourage you to stay tuned to their communications for any changes based on the situation.

**Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center performances are cancelled between now and May 15th (Box Office accessible by phone only)

**Berkshire Innovation Center has cancelled or postponed events with larger crowds until further notice.

**Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge is closed.

**ALL Mass Audubon workshops in south county are cancelled for the month of April.

**The People's Pantry on St. James Place in Great Barrington is OPEN to accept food donations for south county residents who are in need on Mondays from 5 to 6:30 pm. They are also open on Thursdays between 8 am and 1 pm.

**Dee Foster's Move & Groove classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at The Clair Teague Senior Center in Great Barrington have been cancelled. .

**All events through April 15th at the Monterey Community Center are cancelled.

**Studio 318 in Ashley Falls is closed until further notice.

**Blue Rider Stables closed until further notice.

**The Norman Rockwell Museum on route 183 in Stockbridge remains closed.

**Berkshire Paint and Sip has decided to close temporarily and there is no said date to resume classes throughout the tri-state region. If you pre-registered for an event, you will receive a notification of your credit or refund options.

**Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge located at the junctions of routes 102 and 183 remains closed and is scheduled to re-open on April 15th.

**St. George's Greek Orthodox Church on Bradford Street Street in Pittsfield has cancelled their Greek pastry sale scheduled for Saturday, April 11th.

**The Sheffield Kiwanis benefit concert featuring Laura Pellegrino scheduled for April 18th at Monument Mountain Regional High School has also been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

**The Berkshire Humane Society on Barker Road in Pittsfield has scaled back operations until further notice. You can adopt or surrender pets by making an appointment to set up a time. For more information, call (413) 447-7878.

**Southern Berkshire elderly transportation corporation is not running until further notice.
